What I've been working on

So I've had some questions regarding what I'd been knitting.
Here's the final project.

It's a super soft lap blanket with crochet edge.

I don't know about all of you,
but I just can't have too many of them laying around.

 This one is for the apartment in California.
I love the blue edge!

    Oh, I agree with you. I'd like to have them in every chair. The blue crochet edge is a really pretty finishing touch. Enjoy your Holiday.

    Beautiful. And yes, I love throws too. My aunt knits things for me all the time, and my mom quilts things, so I have plenty of warmth when and where I need it. And beauty too! Yours is lovely.

    I would love to have one laying around also...it looks so warm and fabulous. I am a blanket lover...my husband and kids know not to touch "mom's" blankets!!

    Gotta have a soft lap cover where ever the comfy chairs are. Loved strolling through the blue party and such beautiful decorations.

    Those little lap blankets are so nice. You did a great job on this one. I cannot do handwork anymore, but enjoy seeing what others do.

    I treasure all the throws that my late mother knit up.She eventually was diagnosed w/ dimetia and could not remember what to do with the yarn.I spend my winters in Scottsdale and have a friend blogger in Glendale! Nice to meet you! Thank you for following my blog!

    Beautiful throw! Looks very soft - even in the pictures. I don't knit - wish I knew how, but I have learned to crochet in the last couple of years. I have really enjoyed that during our MI winters. We are currently in England & leave for home tomorrow. I've had a lovely trip but am definitely ready to get home and see my family. I saw you had made some similar comments in a couple of your posts. : ) There's just no place like home. Blessings to you & thanks for stopping by my blog.     Lovely blanket, I love knitting myself. Had fun exploring your blog and webpage, the mermaid excerpt was beautiful. It's been forever since I've given myself the luxury of escaping into a book and since summertime is here I need to take the time. Growing up, books were my world.
