So I've had some questions regarding what I'd been knitting.
Here's the final project.
It's a super soft lap blanket with crochet edge.
I don't know about all of you,
but I just can't have too many of them laying around.
This one is for the apartment in California.
I love the blue edge!
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
that looks so cozy! lovely job :)

ReplyDeleteOh, I agree with you. I'd like to have them in every chair. The blue crochet edge is a really pretty finishing touch. Enjoy your Holiday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. And yes, I love throws too. My aunt knits things for me all the time, and my mom quilts things, so I have plenty of warmth when and where I need it. And beauty too! Yours is lovely.

Hi, I love your lap blanket, so nice. I love to crochet and do a little knitting, but I haven't done either in over a year. I really need to get back to it! Thank you for visiting and leaving your kind comment on my Pink Saturday's Second Birthday Party post! I had so much fun designing this sweet table to celebrate Beverly hosting two years of "PINK"!

ReplyDeleteWell done.
That looks like an aweful lot of work but it turned out very nice. I tried knitting a scarf once, but only got halfway through. Thanks for visiting me on Pink Saturday. Have a lovely weekend. Connie
ReplyDeleteVery cozy. You have quite a talent for crochet. They would come in handy on a cool summer evening.
ReplyDeleteSam
Beautiful throw! Looks very soft - even in the pictures. I don't knit - wish I knew how, but I have learned to crochet in the last couple of years. I have really enjoyed that during our MI winters. We are currently in England & leave for home tomorrow. I've had a lovely trip but am definitely ready to get home and see my family. I saw you had made some similar comments in a couple of your posts. : ) There's just no place like home. Blessings to you & thanks for stopping by my blog. I added a few more pics from Bath - our internet wasn't working well the day I posted.
ReplyDeleteOh...it's always so special when it's homemade. It looks so soft and cuddly!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to stop the chill. I admire anyone who has talent with needles. I have no talent with them save for making a great kebob. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteJust a Hello, saw you on my blog today. Welcome.
ReplyDeleteYou look like you've been very busy knitting that blanket. Well done!
I really enjoyed the fishing pictures, not to mention the pictures from your par-tee. Some amazing decorating went on there. Just beautiful.
Have a great weekend!
Annelie

ReplyDeleteAnn
Love the header photo! Beautiful afghan, too. Have a nice holiday weekend. Kerrie
ReplyDeletebEAUTIFUL! BLESSINGS!
ReplyDeleteLovely blanket, I love knitting myself. Had fun exploring your blog and webpage, the mermaid excerpt was beautiful. It's been forever since I've given myself the luxury of escaping into a book and since summertime is here I need to take the time. Growing up, books were my world. Now it seems that although my children are adults, I have even less time to indulge. Thanks for the visit!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...fabulous work!
ReplyDeleteKiki~
Looks very cozy. I like throws and like wraps, scarves, shawls, too. Can't have enough of them. Happy belated Pink Saturday, to you, too. Chloe Patricia
