Today was my mother's birthday.

I miss her terribly.

When she passed away,

I was working on a novel about life after death.

The process and research helped me get through a difficult time.

As you all know my father passed away

this summer,

while I was doing the final editing of the same book.

Coincidence? I don't think so. 

Once again, this novel gave me hope.
