Day 5

Yep, Day 5.
It had to come.
Last day of vacation with the boys.
Dang!

Remember those amazing sand castles from Legoland?
Well ours didn't look like theirs.
But we had fun.

We did a little bit of dancing,

And then the clothes came off . . .

I think I remember this pose?

Then we really got into it.

 I mean really!

Please know, no children were hurt
during the taking of these photos.

And of course,
we brought back something from our vacation.
(Husband says he will vacuum it out later today.)

Day 4

Sorry this post is a day late,
but . . .
well, I've been having fun!
So on day 4 at Legoland California
we drove on over -

As you can see, someone was happy with his parking place.

Once at Legoland we were greeted by this:

Super cool, super great sand castle builders.
This was done in honor of the new
Star Wars exhibit.
Day 4 was about the water park.
Remember?
Yep, that's where we were headed.
(Please remember that big blue slide -
the really tall one there at the top
on the right.)

So we started with the easy slides,

Kicked up our heels a bit.

And then moved on to the big time.

Yep, that's the big blue slide.
I'm told it "goes really, really, really fast"
and "there's this place where you fly!!!!"

 And where is big brother?

Seems to be a bit of a theme developing here.

We had a water fight . . .

Yes, TNT has the "kick up your heels" bit
down,
don't you think?

We had a wonderful time.
Thank you Legoland!
They made it so easy.
The boys, ages 4 and 9,
were just right to enjoy everything.
Tomorrow: the beach!

Day 3

Yesterday
we only made it half way
around Legoland.
So today our goal
was to make it the rest of the way.

 The boys brought their swimsuits
to play here.

A bucket fills with water
and then a bell rings
and the bucket dumps
over everyone below.

After the water play
it was time for more serious
stuff:
Face painting!

We finished off the day with a little digging
for dinosaurs.
The youngest, my paleontologist
knew all the dinosaur names by their pictures.

  Whew:
Recap Day 3:
All have once again survived.
One blister.
One bandaid.
A whole lot of fun.

Preview:
Day 4
Legoland Water Park
all afternoon!
I can't wait!
