Inheritance

Years and years ago

my grandmother passed.

And among some other things

I inherited these

I was thirteen years old at the time.

I've kept these balls all these years,

never knowing what I wanted to do with them.

Using a few bits here and there,

but overall, just holding on to them

for they represent my grandmother's love.

After all,

she is the one who taught me to crochet and knit.
