A Quiet Day

Thunderstorms threatened.
So, no lake yesterday.
Instead:

Birdhouses at the local park.

Flowers:

Zeus

And just a couple of images:

Have a great day!

  1. Good Morning Sweetie...
You have a beautiful local park. I have never seen such beautiful bird houses in a park.

We live in Phoenix near ASU West Campus and we have nothing so quaint. Fill me in on this park. It is breathtaking.

Did you get any rain? We didn't get a drop over here. I wish they would quit threatening and actually send us some rain. We so need it. Everything is so dry and thirsty.

Zeus is gorgeous. This picture truly captures his spirit. Beautiful share.

I also love the thistles. The color is so vibrant and pretty. Thank you for sharing today. Hope you have a beautiful day.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  2. Love these pics, as always! Zeus looks regal indeed. He's a Golden Retriever, right?

That first birdhouse looks like a purple martin box. We need to get one of those to keep the mosquitos away! Cute houses!

  9. Hi! Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment about Kate : ) I've been to your blog, before, but didn't realize that you come from Minnesota. I enjoyed reading back about your preparations for the trip....including your bikini! and also the fact that you are Scandinavian. I wonder if you've ever been to the Swedish-American Institute in Mpls? It is housed in, well, a house....a mansion, really. It's particularly spectacular at the holidays.
Hope you are having a wonderful visit!
    xx Suzanne
