Sew Woe Is Me!

Last week I had the sew woes.
I'm sure you know what I mean.
My sweet machine,
we'll call him Ken
decided to up and quit working.

Now granted,
I hadn't taken really good care of him.
I've had him a long time and I use him A LOT!
But still,
up and quit.
So I searched and called
and finally found someone I thought I could trust Ken to.

He had the right name!
Hee, Hee.
Actually, his name is Larry.

And I must say, he took a look at Ken
and said, "Let's clean him up!"

And he may have done some other things too.
(He did! Calibration)
And now Ken is home,
Looking all spiffy.
And working like a dream.

Thank you so much Mr. Sew (& Vac)

Now Ken has a 1 year warrenty
and I'm all set to start working on a jacket for grandson,
not to mention finish up on some other projects I'm working on.

Thanks again, Larry!
You are amazing.

  1. Isn't it amazing what a little maintainence does? I wish I had good sewing ability. I have so many projects I would get involved in. I have two different fabrics here to make aprons and a bunch of burlap for other projects! I hope you post about the jacket. I would love to see it! Have a good week! Anne

  4. I had one of those moments and experience with my sewing machine too. I brought my in for the malfunctioned bobby pin, turns out it's just a simple replacement...

  6. Well I can definitely relate to this post. I'm in the middle of a huge sewing project. Making a linen duvet and euro shams and more pillows etc... My machine up and broke today TOO. I have to load it up and ship it off tomorrow. It's going to take a couple weeks to get back. It's a really old singer, but I love it. Hope they can fix it!
