Yes, I know.
I've been absent.
No excuse, really, but
I've been a little down.
Change is a good thing,
but this one threw me.

Long Post Follows
When I was a young teen, my parents moved the family to a small rural town.
Coming from the city, I did not fit in.
The public library became my friend.
I spent hours and hours in a comfy, overstuffed chair reading.
As an adult, I have moved many times,
each time, I quickly found the public library.
Libraries = solace in a strange world.
Twelve years ago, we moved to Glendale, AZ
And as has been my habit, I found the library immediately.
To my amazement, not only did I find comfort in the stacks,
but I found a group of aspiring writers.
People just like me.
For more than twenty-five years, twice a month they've come together
for twelve years they've allowed me to be a part of their group
We have spilled our hearts on paper,
told our tales, written our poetry and shared joys and sorrows.
Due to budget cuts,
our public library has decided to no longer sponsor our writer's group.
SOOOOOOO
For the last several weeks we've been searching for a new place
Happily, I believe the search is over.
I think we've found a new home.
A library in Surprise, AZ has opened its arms
and are welcoming us. :)
Also, I should confess
when I'm a bit down
I clean and clean and clean some more
so, all the cupboards and closets have been thinned and organized.
I've moved the furniture.
Did a little sewing.
Have I mentioned that I organized - everything!!!!
All in all,
Life is good again - and clean.
Have a great week all.
I'm going to.
