For whatever reason
the summer comes
and I know it's technically spring
but in Arizona it's been summer for a while now,
anyway,
summer comes and I miss the water
really miss it.
Today all I can think about is the ocean.
Must be because I'm in California.
And I'm heading to San Diego today.
Where you can see these.
And these,
If you aren't working.
Which is what I'll be doing.
Dang!
Have a great June 1st everyone!
Just stopped by your blog, found you over at the English Writer!!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, what a fun place to visit, I would love to see all that you see! San Diego here I come! Okay well only in photos for now, but maybe soon a vacation will be in order!
Happy Tuesday!
It will be refreshing in San Diego, with all those islands and water. Hope you have a good vacation.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for that, it was a horrible start to the day in the UK, but now the sun is shining and it's warm as it should be in June, hope you had a lovely day, Karen.

San Diego sounds like the perfect place to be about now! Hope you have time for fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the water...I grew up on a lake. I am now in the middle of mountains, which are really beautiful, but I still miss the water.
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteI love San Diego! Have a wonderful time!!
You know I just went to Arizona for the first time last year! My best friend moved there a few years ago! I hope to go back again this year! I have never been to California :( My cousin is getting married there this fall, so I hope to go! Hope you are having a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHope you got to enjoy the scenery and water! Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe ocean color in the shot with the pelicans is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting the cottage for Pink Saturday.
I'm hosting three new linky parties starting this first week of June and would love for you to participate. The first one started tonight, June 1st.

ReplyDeleteHave the best time at the coast. It has been truly beautiful here in San Diego. The beaches in Carlsbad have such a great sand bar for hanging out. My favorite beach is at Beech Street. FYI the pattern for my crochet afghan is from Knitting loves Crochet by Candi Jensen. Bring your sunblock!
ReplyDeleteWell, I was working. Nights too. I still had a great 1st June.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are great.
I have lived on the east coast my entire life. I cannot imagine what it must be like to live in a land locked state. I adore the ocean...the smell, sounds, and sights. I am spendiing a week this summer in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine. A quaint village on the coast. I love it! Hugs, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteI'd love to skip work one summer day to go to the zoo or the aquarium to see the wildlife....
ReplyDeleteLOVE San Diego... GREAT place... ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time in California!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the ocean. And I love watching my children at play by the shore line. Love walking with my children along the edge of water, collecting little treasures of stone or shell.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get to the ocean, I exhale - I feel at home.
I met my husband in OC in California. It will always have a special place in my heart.
Have a great time in Cali.
Annelie

I'm a coastal girl through and through so I know what you mean about needing to be near the water sometimes. I hope you have a wonderful time in SoCal!

What lovely shots! We live on the Texas Gulf Coast and see so many pelicans! I just love to watch them! Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
