I'm Loving It!

So much going on.
But I somehow found
time to . . .

I took this Alpaca blend

went to work.

and look!

 Very versatile.
It's a scarf,
a neckwarmer
or just a real pretty accessory.

As I said . . .

And it has a cute little cable in it.

Have a great day everyone.

  1. Jean, Thanks for stopping by this morning and leaving a comment. Just hearing about the book was moving.

I feel so disconnected from all my favorite blogs but I'm looking forward to the slow down so that I can do some reading and catching up with blog friends. Have a wonderful week.

  2. I believe we all deserve a vacation when the new year has come. Or at least we should get FREE Aspirin.. ;)

    Thanks for commenting.

  3. What a gorgeous scarf! This will come in handy very soon! Happy Sunday!

  4. I just made one of these too, it's so comfy!

  5. I could knit that I think. I have issues with the tension when I knit. Clothing is not an option. My mother could knit fabulously and her pieces were sought after.
Your neck warmer looks so warm and cuddly. Christmas is coming.....

  6. Jean your story on Roy and your Mom had me in tears, what a moving story that is and so well written. It is interesting to me as my daughter was diagnosed with non aggressive type MS just this year in Jan. She is age 47 She went to an MS specialist at the Virginia Mason Clinic in Washington as she lives on Kodiak Island Alaska. She takes shots every week and started with symptoms right after Christmas last year when her hands and feet started to go numb. She has an MS lesion in her neck area. A lot of this disease really frightens her as she hears stories like your Mom's. Just recently she has her vision effected but that has cleared up. I won't have her read the story as I know it would really upset her. Thanks for visiting my blog and I'll try and keep a better eye on yours.

  7. Wow it is beautiful Jean, and just taking up knitting in the past few months I can`t imagine how long that took to make! So lovely!!

  8. Wow! That looks beautiful. I am way impressed. I've been scrolling back through some older posts and I have really enjoyed your Handyman stories. Your MS Walk sounds very successful and a great way to honor your mom. My daughter, nieces, and mom all recently did a heart walk for my dad and grandpa.

  9. Soooooooooo pretty! LOVE IT! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  10. Nice yarn and warm scarf. I've been doin' some knittin', too! It's that time of year, yay! :D

  11. Oooo I really like that! I like the color since it'll go with everything! Very nice!

  12. Beautiful scarf!!!
I wish I knew how to do that!!!
my daughter wants to buy a baby boy aviator type beanie for her newborn baby boy coming in Feb. We found some darling ones on etsy, so I guess I can put knitting on hold for a while!!!
    have a great day,

  13. Love the yarn and the pattern. It looks great!

  14. That's a gorgeous knit. There's so much satisfaction when you can wear the end result. I do love winter clothes!

Thank you for stopping by. I treasure each and every word, so please leave one or two.
