Pink Saturday, But I'm Blue

Already another week has passed.
And once again it's a Pink Day.
So please go by and say hello
to Beverly and all the other Pinkies.

And while it's Pink Saturday,
I'm blue . . .
My father has been fighting cancer,
and now, it seems, will need surgery.
Please keep him and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Later today, I will try to get out and stop by to say hello.

  2. Good Morning Jean Sweetie...
Oh I am so sorry to hear about your sweet Daddy. Honey I will be holding him up in prayer for everything to go well, and for the outcome to be what the dr.s expect it to be. I will be holding you up in prayer for strength. The strength to hold up through this difficult time.

I have truly been there. (My niece at the young age of 33 graduated to heaven almost a year ago from squamous cell cancer of the mouth and throat.)It is very hard to watch someone we love go down this path.

Chin up sweetie and know that you are SO loved, and will be prayed for during this journey that your family travels. We go through so many detours in our lives and so many hills and valleys, but we never travel without our Navigator.

Sending you many hugs and SO much love sweetie. I will be checking in on you again soon, please keep me posted. Love, Sherry

  6. I understand your pain. My daddy fought a hard battle for almost 6 years. That was 17 years ago, I will always miss him. My prayers go out to you and your family for COMPLETE healing and peace. Debbie

  7. Jean I'm so sorry you and your father are going through this. It's such an awful disease. But there are so many success stories with it. My aunt who is like a mother to me had surgery last year for colin cancer and now she is doing all my sheets again for me at the inn and she's up on a ladder every other week painting for me (something she has always done).
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers,

  8. Love the new header pic!

Wishing you the best for your father. I ran my 5k yesterday for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Will add him to my list of patients to send good vibes to.

  9. Jean, I'm so very sorry for what's going on. I lost my father about 4 years ago to lung cancer. I've lost too many people to that d$#*@d disease, I'll be keeping your father, you and your family in my prayers. God Bless and hang in there.

    Hugs,
    Meri
