Today we once again celebrate PINK!
Thank you Beverly for hosting once again.
It's been such a special time.
Make sure you go here
to read all about Colette.
And don't forget to visit some of the
incredibly talented ladies.
Now, the reason I've been absent these past few days is
I took a vacation.
Or really a staycation
where I was going to do this?
THE WHOLE TIME!
But instead this happened:
Had to do a little work.
And:
Yep, I made doggie biscuits.
Blueberry-Peanut Butter biscuits
Unfortunately, said girl shown above
apparently doesn't like blueberries.
Which meant I ended up doing extra laundry when I found
blueberries stashed all over the house
in the beds.
I also did some of this:
Yeah, lost more weight.
It's coming off slowly but surely.
So took the same clothes in another inch.
(And also tricked suggested a shopping trip to my husband.)
Of course, I'm still working on Grandson's
dinosaur costume.
And then did some knitting.
I'm sending these out to someone special.
Along with a children's story I wrote
To also be finished today.
I'll try to remember to take some photos for you.
The only thing I haven't done . . .
Clean my desk/office/craft room.
Ugh.
Actually those doggie biscuits look GOOD, Mmmm! My pooch learned to eat the blueberries right of the bushes in the yard so I wouldn't have to worry about them being in anything... Spending time taking in clothes from weight loss is WOW a GREAT thing, congrat on that!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a WONDERFUL Weekend,
Hugs, Donna
I sure hope you had some fun on your time off!

they look good enough to eat to me! Yum! I got real gung ho and bought all the ingredients and a dog bone cookie cutter to make treats for our dog. Made them once and never made them again. He loved them so I need to make some more. Happy Pink Belated Saturday and hope your Labor Day weekend has been fun. ~ Lynn
ReplyDeleteI need to borrow your energy! You are one busy girl! That blueberry story had me laughing! Darn picky pets huh? Hee Hee! Do you share the doggy biscuit recipe?
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Day! Anne
You make me tired just reading all you have been involved in. Staying busy is good for the mind. However, a little relaxing, quiet time is nice too. It is never to late for you to drop by my place for a visit.
ReplyDeleteFunny how busy your can get even while on staycation!! Looks like you did a ton of fun stuff though!!
ReplyDeleteHello Jean,

ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your weekend...:)
Jean thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I really treasurer all comments. I can see you really love your grandson and do a lot of things with him. Take it all in as they grow up so fast. I can't believe how big mine are now at 22 next month and 17. Now on the doggie treats, they look good enough to eat but she didn't like the blueberries, interesting how you found them stashed all over the house, oh our dogs are funny ..
ReplyDeleteHi Jean,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. Perhaps you'll join us for a future Blue Monday.
Sally

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a productive staycation! That's funny about the blueberries! I don't know if Sadie likes blueberries or not but I'm guessing not. Congrats on losing weight! Have a great Monday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Pink Saturday!!love the doggie treats!!

you have been on the go to get all that done.It makes you fell good when it is done.Laura Q
ReplyDeleteYou are multi-talented! I love the knit hats. I learned to knit 2 years ago and I make scarves. I only know 1 stitch and all I can make is scarves. I've made lots of scarves. It is relaxing, but I can't seem to learn anything but my one stitch!
ReplyDeleteI have a few pounds I'd like to lose...advice?
You made some scrumtious-looking doggy biscuits :) Your doggy didn't like blueberries? Sounds like our boy, Kona. Sorry, but I had to laff when you said you had to go around cleaning up blueberry bits. Such kind intentions....I would have eaten those right up!
ReplyDeleteYour piggys look so cute with their bright polish. Love the darling hats you made. And you've lost weight? Lucky lady!
I am like you. I want to do the fun stuff and save cleaning for last. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by to say hello. Always nice to meet someone new. Thanks.
