The first step is to admit you have a problem.

I'm addicted

And it's causing all sorts of problems

My family knows about it

And it worries them

Even my dogs have noticed it

I'm no longer so available for them

For any of them

It's blogging my friends.

Not me blogging, but me reading all the incredible posts from all of you.

It's a sickness this need I have to know what you've been up to.

I'm checking your posts early in the morning and late at night.

And I can't stop.

  1. I feel your pain...I have had to watch myself not only in the blogoshpere, but in twitterville, & facebook as well.

  2. Don't you find that other blogs provide inspiration for your ownblog and other writing?

So maybe it's not an addiction so much as an extension of your love of writing, your need to research.

Well, it sounds plausible doesn't it ;)

  3. oooooo, fortunately I'm not the only one. I do it too, my friend. It's addicting! No guilts, no guilts, we just NEED it, don't we? To be better moms, wives, girls!!

Wishing you a wonderful new week. xx

  4. I can relate to this post! It is so addictive, checking out what everyone is up to, looking at such awesome photographs and connecting to the larger world. I'm addicted too! We should start a blog for blog addicts :) Maybe there is a 12 step programme for Blog Addicts - Blogger's Anonymous!

  5. I have that same addiction! :):):):):):):):):):)

  6. oh well: welcome to the club! :)))
I had to hide my computer this weekend because I really wanted to finish a book I was reading..blogging is indeed addictive, I hope a cure is found very soon!

  7. Hi:) Oh boy, do I know what you are talking about! LOL But it is alot cheaper than therapy, so I will stick with that story!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a post to enter my contest. Good Luck:)
Happy creating and have a pretty week. Gail

  8. I'm just now catching this addiction. Hope there is cure, or maybe I don't. I don't know. Great post though. Glad my addiction brought you here.

  9. Ha...I know the feeling...I am a blogaholic..waiting for a 12 step program too. Hugs to you today. xoxo

  10. Hi!

Oh.. addiction. Does exist just one criterion: do not worry if you still make all activities what did you make before in your life. But if a blogging starts to take all of your time and you let aside everything you liked before... then must think of addiction:))

Thank you for stopping by my little place!

  11. HI!!!!
I know, I do it too!!!!
I have to make myself get off, NO computer Sundays works for me and I now have a blogging schedule, when I am allowed on and so forth, my own self discipline at work!!!!
Our lives are so much fun huh!!!!
    Have a great day

  12. Oh, I'm right there with ya! My dog gets so wound up when I'm blogging... she jumps on me and eats my fingers and licks me and... I just put her in time out for the first 3 times earlier today. Will probably blog about that someday soon!

  13. You know, your pup looks a little like our Jedha... take a peek

Thank you for stopping by. I treasure each and every word, so please leave one or two.
