A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning,
as if supported by the rays of the sun,
a bird settled on the fire escape,
joy in the task of coffee,
joy accompanied me as I walked.
I was looking through my photos this week and what I noticed is that I've a preoccupation with birds.
And of course, in honor of Easter, chicks.

  1. Beautiful photographs and wonderful opening statement. I have a sense of peace and serenity whenever I observe the wonder of birds.
The haunting cry of the loon is forever etched in my mind.
    In peace and respect, Gary.

  2. Good Morning Sweetie...
Thank you for stopping by this morning. I love new visitors, and love coming to visit their blogs as well. Yours is just beautiful. I love your writings as well as your photography.

I have read through some of your writings, and I am wondering what gives with the darn kids and the grapefruits? We have been in Phoenix for 25 years, now we have never had that problem. I wouldn't be happy either, and like you I am wondering WHY? We have a lemon tree in our yard, and it hangs over the fence, where people would have access to it, but we have never had any problem like this. My heart goes out to you, as to WHY?

I am your newest follower. I will definitely be back, as I see you are an Arizonan (Glendale) I live in NorthWest Phoenix. I love meeting new AZ bloggers. I would be so honored if you popped over and signed up to follow my blog as well.

    Happy Easter sweetie. Country hugs..>Sherry
